After heading down towards Spring Valley, the core finally catches up and unleashes a barrage of hail on us. At one point visibility was down to a few metres in what felt like driving through a blizzard. Stones ranged from 2 to 3cm
Around 30 minutes later and now near the intersection of Thornford and Currawang Roads. The updraft area is now closer with inflow still streaming in.
Timelapse of the Tarago-Collector storm gaining momentum in the early evening hours of Sunday 19 November. Looking east-southeast towards Lake Bathurst. Main updraft base is in background - note the inflow feeding into it.
